賓語從句是指在一個(gè)句子中充當(dāng)賓語的句子。
例如：
He said that he wanted to be a teacher when he grew up.
他說長大后想當(dāng)一名老師。
①賓語從句的連接詞：
賓語從句的連接詞包括that、if/whether(是否)、特殊疑問詞。
②賓語從句的語序：
A. 賓語從句的連接詞后加陳述語序(主語在前，謂語在后)。
例如：I want to know if he can come tomorrow.
我想知道他明天是否能來。
B. 當(dāng)連接詞本身又是賓語從句的主語時(shí)，后面直接加謂語動(dòng)詞。
例如：She asked me who had helped him.
她問我誰幫助了他。
③賓語從句的時(shí)態(tài)，只要記住以下口訣就可以了。
“主現(xiàn)則從任，主過則從過，客觀真理一般現(xiàn)”
A. 主現(xiàn)則從任：主句如果是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，則從句根據(jù)時(shí)間狀語需要從八種時(shí)態(tài)中任選一種。
例如：He tells me he studied English in England last year.
他告訴我他去年在英國學(xué)習(xí)英語。
B. 主過則從過：主句如果是一般過去時(shí)，則從句根據(jù)時(shí)間狀語需要從四種帶“過”字的時(shí)態(tài)中任選一種，帶“過”字的時(shí)態(tài)分別是如：一般過去時(shí)，過去進(jìn)行時(shí)，過去將來時(shí)，過去完成時(shí)。
例如：He told me that he liked playing football.
他告訴我他喜歡踢足球。
C. 客觀真理一般現(xiàn)：客觀真理永遠(yuǎn)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
例如：He said the moon goes around the earth.
他說月亮繞著地球轉(zhuǎn)。

1. 時(shí)間狀語從句：在一個(gè)句子中作時(shí)間狀語的句子。
時(shí)間狀語從句的連接詞：when(當(dāng)…...時(shí)候)，while(當(dāng)...…時(shí)候) as(當(dāng)...…時(shí)候)，after(在…...以后)，before(在...…以前) as soon as(一...…就......)，since(自從...…到現(xiàn)在)，till/until(直到…...才......)，by the time(到...…的時(shí)候)
例如：
Mozart started writing music when he was four years old.
莫扎特四歲時(shí)開始創(chuàng)作音樂。
2. 條件狀語從句：：在一個(gè)句子中作條件狀語的句子。
條件狀語從句的連接詞：if， unless(除非)，as long as(只要)
例如：If it doesn’t rain tomorrow， we will go hiking.
如果明天不下雨，我們將去遠(yuǎn)足。
注意：在時(shí)間和條件狀語從句中，一定要符合“主將從現(xiàn)”原則。如上面例句，條件狀語 If it doesn’t rain tomorrow用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，主句we will go hiking用一般將來時(shí)。
3. 原因狀語從句：在一個(gè)句子中作原因狀語的句子。
原因狀語從句的連接詞：because， since， as，now that
例如：I didn’t go to school yesterday because I was ill.

例如：I have met a doctor who is in the No.1 hospital.

一、關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)的定語從句
1、由who, whom, that，Whose引導(dǎo)的從句
這些詞代替的先行詞是人的名詞或代詞，who作主語指人，whom作賓語指人，that既可作主語又可作賓語（作賓語可以省略），可以指人也可以指物。Whose 用來指人或物，只用作定語。
(1) Is he the man who/that wants to see you? 他是那個(gè)想見你的男人嗎？（who/that在從句中作主語）
(2) He is the man whom/ that I saw yesterday. 他就是我昨天見的那個(gè)人。（whom/that在從句中作賓語）
(3) The man whom you spoke to just now is our English teacher 你剛剛說話的那個(gè)男人是我們的英語老師
(4) he man whose son is a doctor is our professor. 那個(gè)兒子是醫(yī)生的男人是我們的教授。
2、由which, that引導(dǎo)的從句
它們所代替的先行詞是事物的名詞或代詞，在從句中可作主語、賓語等，作賓語時(shí)可以省略，例如：
(1) Prosperity which / that had never been seen before appears in the countryside. 農(nóng)村出現(xiàn)了前所未有的繁榮。（which / that在從句中作主語）
(2) The package (which / that) you are carrying is about to come unwrapped. 你拿那個(gè)包裹快要散開了。(which / that在從句中作賓語）
注意： 代表物時(shí)多用which，但在下列情況中用that而不用which：
a)先行詞是anything, everything, nothing , none等不定代詞時(shí)；
b)先行詞由every, any, all, some, no, little, few, much等修飾時(shí)，這時(shí)的that常被省略；
c)先行詞前有序數(shù)詞或被形容詞最高級(jí)修飾時(shí)；
d)先行詞中既有人又有物時(shí)；
e)整個(gè)句中前面已有which，who,that時(shí)；
f)當(dāng)先行詞為 物并作表語時(shí)；
g)先行詞為one時(shí)；
h)先行詞同時(shí)又被the only,the very,the same修飾時(shí)；
二、關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)的定 語從句
1、when指時(shí)間在定語從句中做時(shí)間狀語也可做連接詞用 I still remember the day when I first came to the school.
2、where指地點(diǎn)在定語從句中做地點(diǎn)狀語 Shanghai is the city where I was born.
3、why指原因在定語從句中做原因狀語 ，用在reason 后面。 Please tell me the reason why you missed the plane.
常見考法
對(duì)于定語從句的考查，多以單選的形式 考查學(xué)生靈活運(yùn)用的能力。一般情況下，常從關(guān)系詞的意義和功能的角度考查，重點(diǎn)是that,which,who引導(dǎo)的定語從句。
典型例題：You're the only person ______I've ever met ______could do it .

誤區(qū)提醒
當(dāng)表示時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)的名詞作先行詞時(shí)，要判斷出它們?cè)趶木渲凶鳡钫Z還是主語或賓語。作狀語時(shí)用關(guān)系副詞，反之用關(guān)系代詞。
